Ivan Vrublevskyi » Performance of "Paschal Troparion" by the Choir of the Odesa National Academy of Music named after A. V. Niezhdanova

From April 5th to 7th, 2023, in Ivano-Frankivsk, the III All-Ukrainian Easter Choral Music Festival "Cathedral Bells" took place, in which the Choir of the Odesa National Academy of Music named after A. Nezhdanova participated.

Under the direction of Halina Shpak, the choir performed, among other pieces, Ivan Vrublevskyi's "Paschal Troparion". The composition was performed twice - in the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Ivano-Frankivsk and on the stage of the Ivano-Frankivsk Philharmonic.

This composition was created in 2014 and immediately became a highlight of the "Easter Assembly 2014" festival in Ukraine's main sanctuary, the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. The premiere performance was carried out by the Choir of the Odesa National Academy of Music named after A. Niezdanova. Furthermore, in 2018, the piece resonated in the Mariacki Basilica in Krakow during the International Festival of Krakow Composers, performed by the Psalmodia Choir of the Pontifical University of John Paul II in Krakow.
