Edition of score materials of the opera "The Bluebird. Return" by Ivan Vrublevskyi
In Kharkiv, a complete set of literary and musical materials for the modern Ukrainian opera "The Blue Bird. Return" has been published. The project was implemented by the Kharkiv Contemporary Art Center Theatre "Nova Scena" with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. For the first time in the history of independent Ukraine, the opera has been presented in a professional, bilingual (Ukrainian-English) edition of the libretto, score, piano reduction, and 23 parts for individual instruments!
"The Blue Bird. Return" is a modern Ukrainian opera. Librettist Dmytro Ternovyi and composer Ivan Vrublevskyi created a musical mystery in which the main character finds his way to himself by relying on Ukrainian roots and the history of his family. The work is particularly relevant today, as almost every Ukrainian feels the need to understand and decode the meaning of their personal and collective history, culture, and ethnicity.
